“Ours was an ambitious conversion, to quote the architect. From the outset it was clear that we had chosen wisely with Alan Edward as the main contractor. He had some excellent space saving and light enhancing ideas that were incorporated into the architect’s original design. When the roof was off the house and the weather turned a little nasty, he worked tirelessly to ensure that our home was watertight and to allay our obvious concerns. Although the original timeline was exceeded, this was due to an unseasonal wet spell and could not be attributed to Alan. The conversion did however come in on budget and we are delighted with his work”.
Mr & Mrs T Stewart, Perth
“I have an excellent new shower room due to the ingenuity of Alan. The space seemed tight but he made the most of what was available and we no longer have to traipse downstairs for our morning shower. He suggested an equally professional plumber and electrician and he did all the liaising with them to complete the shower room and refurbishment of the main bathroom. I have since had Alan back to fit a large new front door and patio doors. His calm, methodical approach to his work is very reassuring and he leaves an excellent finish with everything as neat and tidy as it was before he arrived, maybe even more so”.
Mr P Campbell, Perth
“When the quotes came in for what we originally wanted to do, it was Alan that suggested changes to the design to allow us to have a conversion to meet the budget we had. Nothing seemed to be too much of a bother, with the job almost finished, I suddenly mentioned that it would be good to have the skirting replaced in the original bedrooms. The next day Alan arrived with new skirting and the job was promptly completed. Our home has been transformed, Alan has done a marvellous job”.
Mr & Mrs G Keane, Scone
“Alan has completed work for us over the past 12 years and we would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends. This work has included bigger projects such as garage conversion, building a porch and conservatory as well as smaller jobs such as replacing skirting boards, facings, bannister, doors and built in wardrobes. Alan’s Craftsmanship and finish is of a high standard with attention to detail. For bigger projects, Alan will take responsibility of project manager to sub –contact for other trades required to complete the work.(plumber/ electrician/ builder etc.) This has given us peace of mind knowing that the work will be completed by reliable and competent tradesmen. Alan is thoroughly reliable and trustworthy”.
Mrs Hazel Douglas, Perth
